Vidya Mandir Alumni Association has been providing Medical Insurance for teachers, staff & retired teachers of the school. The Group Medical Insurance was instituted in the year 2002 and this benefit to the teachers and staff has been continued and provided for over 10 years till date.

On 23 December 2014, VMAA organized a meeting in which, executives from United Insurance Company Limited and Heritage TPA (Third Party Administrator) explained in detail the scope of insurance cover, procedures for submission of claims and other information.

Many teachers, both retired and current, actively participated in this presentation. Questions raised were answered, and this clarified the doubts in minds of the insured i.e staff and teachers

Dr Sandeep Seethapathi, an Alumni member, who owns and runs Seethapathi Clinic, gave an account of the Scheme and the various initiatives taken by VMAA for the benefit of teachers.
